Welcome to Sawtelle One

Kalnel Living’s newest offering, Sawtelle One, provides exceptional care, in an elevated, contemporary environment. Filled with an abundance of natural light, our interior finishes are thoughtfully chosen to create a modern aesthetic while maximizing safety and comfort.

We offer a spacious dining and living room, private bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, an expansive outside patio area, and a dedicated physical therapy/fitness room– all within a secure perimeter.

What sets us apart is the quality of care we provide. Since we are a boutique home, we have a low caregiver to resident ratio, allowing us to form deep relationships with our residents and deliver highly individual, personalized care.

Our services focus on assistance with daily living and medication management. Residence enjoy their independence with the knowledge that there is always someone nearby to help.

Kalnel Living provides our staff with ongoing professional development. All of our caregivers are certified medical technicians, have received California state Covid 19 infection control training, and have participated in Dementia and Hospice/End of Life care classes.

Meals are prepared by our private chef, who incorporates seasonal produce and organic ingredients (often from our garden). Our menu changes daily and features traditional and globally inspired dishes. We are happy to can accommodate any religious or dietary restriction.

Sawtelle One‘s living areas are designed for flexibility. There are nooks for reading, space for entertaining and events, we host visiting musicians, movie nights and community groups. Tea, coffee and snacks are available all day. The floor to ceiling windows open onto our patio, always providing lots of sunshine and a view of our greenery.

Our Exercise/PT room is equipped with a bike, massage table, weights and yoga equipment. One-on-one sessions, small group classes, independent exercise and home health care physical therapy sessions are held here.

All of our bedrooms have in suite bathrooms, custom closets and HD flat screen televisions with streaming services. Our bedrooms vary in size and choice is determined by availabilty. Microwave and refrigerator are available upon request.
